So after a week in Nepal, I'm starting to understand a little bit what it means to live here. For the people who have access to electricity almost 11 hours of the total 24 hours it is shut of. Not to get hit by cars is also a challenge, not to mention cold showers. However, the people are really nice here, and to have a person to cook and wash for me is really a nice experience, though I'm not quite used to it yet. Today I went to fix access to internett, so that I don't have to use cafées for that. Actually it was closed, but I got help anyway, so now they will come and install it on monday:) In Norway, if something is closed, it is really closed. But here they really focuses on the customer, which I think is really nice.
When I went to the office to extend my visa I had to wait for hours to get it if I didn't pay a little something extra. Because I don't support that kind of deals, I waited. So I really nead a good deal of patience:)
I really look forward to go to a Nepali church. I'm going to one on saturday. Here they actually go to church on saturdays and not on sundays! And all I can say is: why not?

Vaskeplassen
